Controllers

A Slot Car Controller is a handheld device operated by the driver to control the car as it runs around the track. Controllers come in several variations for different classes of racing and cars. Modern controllers are trigger operated, the more you pull the trigger the faster the car will go. Letting off the controller will apply the brakes for stopping.

Controllers are generally designed to operate in the 10-18 volt range and some include chokes to limit power on high class cars, many offer variable brakes and sensitivity as well so you are able to dial in your controller for a particular class of car.

Resistor Controllers are older technology, generally used for lower end cars or fun sessions at the local raceway, Electronic Controllers offer many more features but are typically cost more. We carry a full line of controllers from many manufacturers and replacement parts to service them. Feel free to call us or email us with any questions.
